Family Contract 2023-2024

The following information is a part of our Family Contract.  All registered families will be required to read and agree to the following stipulations.  Please read through our documents and stated policies carefully.  REX reserves the right to deny or cease educational services for families who are unwilling to abide by these policies the Board deems necessary.

2. *

I have read the REX Statement of Faith and understand that REX chooses to abide by this document, and my family agrees to operate within this framework while a part of REX.

3. *

I understand that REX will only succeed if parents and students work together.  I will supervise the my student's education based on the guidance and scheduling of the instructor.  I am responsible for my student's integrity, behavior, industry, timeliness, academic progress, and grading.

4. *

Conduct: While participating in REX, students are expected to:
•    Be Timely by being punctual to morning meeting and classes
•    Be Self-Disciplined by demonstrating self-control and accepting consequences
•    Be God-honoring in Word, by not swearing or participating in crude conversation and unsuitable slang, and Deed, by having a respectful attitude towards adults and other students
•    Be Modest by wearing respectful attire  (See Handbook for specific policy)

5. *

My student(s) and family will respect each other's belongings and the church facilities.  We will clean up after ourselves.  I will be responsible for any damage incurred by my student(s) and will make necessary replacements/repairs.

If my student(s) are not under my direct supervision, they will be subject to the authority and direction of REX volunteers.  Being a student at REX means that he/she willingly agrees to follow and abide by the policies of the Rex Policy Handbook.

I am responsible for my student(s) at all times.

I (or a legal guardian) will be present in the building with my student(s) under 13 years old.

I have filled out an Emergency Medical Form online, or I agree to fill out an return a copy for REX to keep on file.

10. *

Attendance:  My student(s) are expected to be prepared for class, to be punctual, and to attend all sessions scheduled unless I have informed instructors of an absence.

11. *

I understand that families are asked to volunteer for a specific number of hours each year for REX.  I agree to find a volunteer position or positions that help the group work together, or I am responsible for paying the opt-out fee.  

The volunteer positions available will be at the end of this registration process.

I understand cell phones/Ipods are permitted at REX but are only to be out and in use with the instructor's permission for specific educational purposes in class.

I understand that if I or my student(s) do not abide by the aforementioned policies, we will fall under the REX Discipline Policy laid out in the REX Policy Handbook.
